  • 1/4 cup vegan butter softened
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 to 4 tablespoons vanilla oat milk or almond milk


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, starting with 1 tablespoon of dairy-free milk. Use a stand mixer or hand mixer to beat until light and fluffy. If the frosting is too thick, beat in the extra dairy-free milk one tablespoon at a time.
